The unique landscape of the national park region will be circled in various stages – and all that without any luggage. Classical: alpine passes, flowing single trails, fast descents, deserted valleys, nature pure and passing the highest Swiss pain forest in Europe. All that awaits you on the Nationalpark Bike-Tour, during which you circle the only Swiss national park. The route is consistent with the Nationalpark Bike-Marathon route (Swiss mobile route Nr. 444) and is easily traceable, even without maps.

Stage description:

Scuol – Val Müstair, 42 km and 1550 m altitude difference: From Scuol to S-charl, along the Swiss stone pine wood “God da Tamangur” to Alp Astras and onwards to Pass da Costainas. Steep descent to Alp Champatsch, on a forest way to Lü. From here to the hotel in Müstair, Sta. Maria or Tschierv.

Val Müstair – Livigno, 50 km and 1300 m altitude difference: From the stage start through the Cal Vau up to Döss Radond and onwards trough the Val Mora. From the Alp Mora, a challenging single trail leads to Passo Val Mora. After a tour around Lago S. Giacomo di Fraéle, the ascent to Alpisella follows. Afterwards on a good road steeply down to Lago di Livigno and to the stage goal Livigno.

Livigno – Zuoz, 62 km and 700 m altitude difference: The road from Livigno in direction of Forcola di Livigno on the new bike route and on the pass road is perfectly made to start the trip. The “Val Minur Marmotta-Trail” follows next over the Motta Bianco to Ospizio Bernina. On the “Bernina Express Bike Trail No. 673”, the route leads onwards alongside Morteratsch glacier to Pontresina. From here, one turns left in direction of Stazersee, then onwards alongside to St. Moritzsee and Celerina to Zuoz.

Zuoz – Scuol, 50 km and 700 m altitude difference: Zuorz –Zernez with up and downs, further to Susch, Lavin and up to Guarda and Ardez. Onwards to Ftan and the final descent to Scuol comes. 

Good to know:
- You will receive further documents such as the summer map and a sleeve for the luggage label at the first hotel on the tour.
- Parking facilities are available in Zernez or Scuol (partly for a fee).
- Luggage is collected daily from the hotel at 9.00 a.m. (max. 1 piece of luggage of max. 15kg per person)
